Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Nutrition Services team as a Nutrition Services Associate. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest quality of food service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and collect patient trays, ensuring timely and efficient service
  • Prepare and deliver nourishments to patient floors, adhering to dietary therapy guidelines
  • Assist with sanitation and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Transport food, supplies, and trays to various units, ensuring seamless operations
  • Receive and store food inventory, managing stock levels and minimizing waste

  • Assist clinical staff with patient requests and preferences, entering data into the information system to optimize patient nourishment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 6 months+ experience in a kitchen area preferred
  • Ability to understand unit measurements, such as ounces, pounds, cups, etc.
  • Knowledge of how to use a scale
