Job Title: CVOR Technologist

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled CVOR Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Washington, District of Columbia.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CVOR Technologist to work in a fast-paced Cardiovascular Operating Room environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team
  • Participate in department on-call schedule
  • Facilitate room turnover time
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience working as a surgical technician in an acute care setting
  • Current CPR provider card
  • Minimum of eighteen months of CVOR recent experience or completed clinical orientation specific to the surgical care of the open-heart patient population
  • Knowledge of CVOR instrumentation as it relates to specific cardiac surgical procedures and other procedures as needed
