Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Methodist Hospital. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical surgical unit.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing lab tests, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the RN and other members of the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Assist with procedures, monitoring, and other functions as directed by the physician or RN.
  • Perform lab and procedural tests within the LPN scope of practice, after demonstrating competency.
  • Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN / LVN), or Graduate Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse, or Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate.
