We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant to join our team at SCP Health. As a Physician Assistant in Emergency Medicine, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to patients in the emergency department, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions.
- Conduct physical exams, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Prescribe medications and order medical treatments as authorized by state law and hospital policy.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices in emergency medicine.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or eligible for certification.
- 2+ years of experience as a Physician Assistant in Emergency Medicine or related field.
