Culinary Specialist

The Culinary Professional at Moxie Woodfire Grill works under the guidance of senior kitchen staff, learning essential cooking skills through hands-on training. Key responsibilities include preparing meals, chopping vegetables, making salads, and assembling entrees. Additionally, the Culinary Professional assists with tasks such as storing leftover food, washing dishes, cleaning, and emptying trash. They may also be required to help set up tables in the dining room and deliver meals to customers.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior relevant experience and familiarity with basic cooking supplies and equipment are preferred.
• The ideal candidate must be committed to customer satisfaction, reliable to colleagues, and self-motivated, organized, and detailed.
• Fluent English speaking and written communication skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are essential.

• Perform light food preparation duties, including bread, salad, appetizers, and dessert.
• Prepare food for cooking, including washing and chopping vegetables.
• Clean work areas and all equipment used in food preparation.
• Follow safety and sanitation rules and practices.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic culinary coursework or equivalent experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of general sanitary and safety practices is essential.
• The ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed is required.
