We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Integrated Power Services (IPS), the industry's leading and fastest-growing service provider. As a key member of our electromechanical and power management solutions team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the reliability of critical infrastructure across North America and the United Kingdom.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced electrical power systems specialist to take on new challenges and contribute to our company's continued growth. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, ensuring their equipment runs smoothly, and preventing costly downtime. Your expertise in electro-mechanical equipment, particularly AC/DC motors, will be invaluable in helping us deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Closely adhere to all safety standards and procedures, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others.
  • Effectively communicate with teammates to achieve mutual goals and foster a strong team environment.
  • Inspect and test various electro-mechanical equipment, utilizing your knowledge of precision measuring tools and electrical testing equipment.
  • Install/Remove AC and DC electric motors, laser align equipment, and read precision measuring tools such as micrometers.
  • Clean electro-mechanical equipment using bead blasting, ice blasting, and solvent cleaning.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a professional environment and completing assigned work in compliance with operating policies and procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • PdMA testing experience is preferred, but not required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of AC/DC motor experience is necessary, along with strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions precisely.
  • You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, following standardized work procedures, and apply analytical problem-solving dynamics in a continuous improvement setting.
  • Strong customer focus, professional communication skills, and basic computer skills are essential.
  • A valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record are also required.
  • Bonus: OEM VFD Drive certifications from Eaton, ABB, Toshiba, or Yaskawa can be advantageous.
