Foreman Burner Leader

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman Burner Leader to join our team at HII Corp. Defunct. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled trades personnel and ensuring the successful execution of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the work of semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel to ensure efficient and effective production.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve quality and productivity, and recommend training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
• Monitor job and budget performance, and ensure compliance with all technical aspects of the job, including adherence to drawings, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Perform management duties, including safety, quality, cost, and schedule management, in accordance with the Shipbuilding Management Charter 0001.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of production activities.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, and 4 years of craft experience, or Ingalls Apprenticeship.
• Superior attendance and disciplinary record, with no more than 3 unexcused absences in the last 180 days.
• Documented leadership qualities and experience, including safety proponent and timely completion of assignments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures, including safety protocols and quality control measures.
