Job Title: Converting Operator

We're seeking a skilled Converting Operator to join our team at Pregis. As a Converting Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient production of high-quality packaging materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load WIP rolls of material onto the unwinds and set up the machine for various products.
  • Safely and efficiently produce converted product to the required specifications.
  • Remove excess trim scrap and dispose of it properly.
  • Meet or exceed production quantity and quality standards.
  • Perform quality checks and operate the band saw safely and efficiently.
  • Relocate the finished pallet to the designated storage area.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow standardized work instructions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment:

Exposure to moving equipment, inside work, heat, and humidity. Frequent standing, stooping, and lifting (up to 50 lbs).

Shift Work:

6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM. Overtime expected per business demand.
