Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and energetic Cook to join our team at CRAVE American Kitchen & Sushi Bar.

Salary Information

The hourly rate for this position is estimated to be around $15-$18 per hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cook at CRAVE, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This includes:

  • Preparing all food items, following standard recipes and procedures within specified time limits.
  • Assisting cooks in the preparation of basic dessert items.
  • Prepping assigned items according to the Prep Lists and par levels set by management.
  • Storing and properly handling raw or prepared foods and non-food supplies.
  • Measuring and assembling ingredients required for preparing standard recipes. Cutting and/or portioning meat, fish, and poultry.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Able to read and understand the English language.
  • ServSafe Certified is a plus.
  • Basic mathematical skills for measurements.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and communicative skills.

This is an hourly paid position with varying days and hours of work according to business hours and job requirements. Our kitchen operates seven days a week, and hours start as early as 9 AM and can go as late as 11 PM depending on the work required.
