Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of the Patient Care Services team at LifeBridge Health. As a RN in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, utilizing established clinical pathways and protocols.
  • Provide and delegate patient care activities based on patient needs and team skills/abilities.
  • Evaluate patient response to treatment and nursing interventions, and revise the plan of care as needed.
  • Monitor patient progress and prepare patients for discharge.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Less than 2 years of previous emergency care experience, either as a technician or intern, preferred
  • CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider certification
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification
  • RN - Registered Nurse licensure
  • ENCP - Emergency Nurse Pediatric certification
  • CEN - Certified Emergency Nurse certification
  • NIHSS - National Stroke Association NIH Stroke Scale certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service skills
