Job Summary:
Soliant is seeking a passionate and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a school-based setting. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating students with communication disorders, collaborating with special education staff, and developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' communication needs and develop treatment plans to address these needs.
- Collaborate with special education staff to develop and implement IEPs that meet the unique needs of each student.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students with communication disorders.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress and involve them in the treatment process.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting or pediatrics is strongly preferred.
- Experience with IEPs and other special education processes is also preferred.
