- Hardware Engineering and Innovation
- Lead the hardware engineering team to design, develop, and deploy innovative hardware solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Drive innovation through research and development, identifying new technologies and opportunities to enhance product offerings.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, product development, platform, user experience, machine learning, and quality to ensure seamless integration and delivery of hardware products.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executive leadership, customers, and partners to ensure alignment and understanding of hardware strategies and roadmaps.
- Leadership and Management
- Lead and manage a team of hardware engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to ensure team success and growth.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective hardware development and deployment.
- 15+ years of experience in hardware engineering and innovation, with a proven track record of delivering industry-leading products.
- Extensive experience with wireless technology, digital, power, and RF hardware designs, and experience in video technology.
- Knowledge of automotive and ISO standards, experience in all phases of hardware development (concept, specification, development, qualification, and launch).
- Experience with manufacturing and assembly processes is required.
- Strong interpersonal leadership skills to influence multi-functional organizations.
- Critical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills and the ability to demonstrate effective conflict resolution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in electrical engineering or a similar subject area/equivalent experience.
