Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Cynet Health in Salisbury, MD. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiography procedures, working with physicians to schedule interventional procedures, and effectively communicating with patients to obtain important clinical information.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiography procedures utilizing established protocols and procedures without requiring constant supervision.
  • Work with physicians to schedule interventional procedures as needed.
  • Effectively communicate with patients to obtain important clinical information, instruct the patient, relieve anxiety, and gain cooperation during procedures.
  • Perform all phases of radiologic procedures, including emergency room trauma, fluoroscopy, portable, and surgical application of ionizing radiation.
  • Regularly produce images of high quality according to prescribed protocols and procedures whenever possible.
  • Adhere to established company compliance, policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Perform a variety of procedures, including general radiographic, fluoroscopic, mammographic, and patient unit, ED, trauma, and operating room portables.
  • Effectively communicate with patients to obtain important clinical information, instruct the patient, relieve anxiety, and collaborate with patients during procedures.
  • Perform diagnostic radiologic exams and procedures according to physician orders.
  • Assist radiologists in exams and procedures.
Requirements
  • Certificate program or associate degree in radiology technician.
  • One year of experience as a CT tech in a facility, AHA BLS required.
