## Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Supervisor to lead our diagnostic lab team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for supervising the managerial, technical, and educational functions of the laboratory, including supervision of shift personnel. Your expertise in clinical analysis and quality assurance will be essential in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of our laboratory.
## Key Responsibilities
* Supervise the managerial, technical, and educational functions of the laboratory, including supervision of shift personnel
* Perform and supervise performance of clinical analyses
* Implement, assess, and document quality assurance procedures according to established protocol
* Develop and maintain operational plans for laboratory instruments and management of departmental materials according to CLIA requirements
* Communicate and consult with physicians, technologists, and other health care professionals
## Requirements
* Bachelor of Medical Technology from an accredited school
* ASCP or appropriate national certification
* TN Laboratory Supervisor License
* Minimum 5 years experience to include core lab testing for chemistry and hematology
