Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team at SEEK Careers/Staffing, Inc. As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for painting all of the mild steel and aluminum parts used to manufacture our conveyor and specialty equipment.

Responsibilities

- Washing and preparing parts for painting as needed

- Inspecting for cleanliness and tacking of all parts prior to paint

- Spraying various sizes and shapes of steel and aluminum parts to quality specifications

- Touch-up paint on completed assemblies prior to shipping as needed

- Material handling as needed

- Grinding, deburring and passivating stainless steel parts when there is no painting to be done

- Maintaining spray booth and equipment

Requirements

- Must be able to be certified for respirator use

- Understand and conform to proper use of paint booth PPE

- Adaptable to fast paced environment

- Ability to follow instructions

- Ability to work independent or as a team
