Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team at UW Health Clinics. As a Vascular Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing professional-level assessments and non-invasive studies using ultrasound and related diagnostic technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently perform vascular ultrasound exams and related diagnostic studies.
  • Interpret exam results and communicate findings to referring physicians.
  • Participate in daily maintenance and care of equipment.
  • Perform examinations in both clinic and hospital settings using stationary and portable equipment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and families to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Solve problems related to patient care, department operations, and documentation of care.
  • Participate in clinical instruction and research opportunities.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of vascular imaging experience required.
  • Experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital preferred.
  • Prior traveler experience highly preferred.
Schedule and Unit Information
  • Full performance Vascular Sonographer position.
  • Perform examinations in both clinic and hospital settings.
  • May have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization.

  • UW Health Clinics is transitioning to modern file formats for Microsoft applications.
  • Profiles should be submitted in.docx,.xlsx, and.pptx file types.
