Medix\u00ae is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering radiation therapy treatments to patients under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately deliver and record radiation therapy treatments
  • Enter and maintain patient treatment parameters into electronic medical records
  • Participate in clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students
  • Assist in maintaining patient appointment schedules and submitting correct billing information
  • Accurately interpret computerized treatment plans
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Equipment and Procedures
  • Operate Varian linear accelerators, GE 580 Optima CT Simulator, Nucletron microSelection HDR unit, ARIA record and verify system, Calypso Guidance System, and AlignRT
  • Perform 3D-conformal therapy, IMRT, FSRT, SBRT, DIBH, and IGRT
Requirements
  • OBMI License (Open to New Grads)
  • BLS Certification
  • ARRT Licensing
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor\u2019s Degree
  • Experience operating Aria and Varian Based Equipment
Work Schedule
  • Typically 7:30am - 3:30pm M-F
  • Variable dependent on Machine
  • Sometimes 9am-5pm for a certain machine
Compensation

$71,144.00 - $144,934.00 per year
