Key Responsibilities- Operational Support: Provide operational and administrative support to Nurse leadership, ensuring the smooth functioning of our nursing operations.
- Staff Management: Directly supervise front-line staff, assess, plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate nursing practice and the nursing care delivery system.
- Patient Care: Ensure high-quality patient care by interpreting, supporting, and communicating policies, standards, and procedures to staff.
- Quality Improvement: Identify cost containment measures, implement alternative measures of product utilization, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Leadership: Serve as a role model for staff, demonstrating professionalism, quality care, and adhering to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
- Special Projects: Assume special projects as assigned by leadership, demonstrating adaptability and a strong sense of accountability.
- Certifications: Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license, American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification, ACLS certification, and nationally certified in specialty (highly preferred).
- Education: BSN required, MSN preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, prior assistant manager or supervisor experience highly preferred.
- Skills: Demonstrated clinical competence, strong sense of accountability, exceptional focus on teamwork, dedication to ongoing education, and ability to deliver high-quality care based on a strong sense of patient focus.
