Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Construction Management Team by assisting with various tasks related to construction processes, customer service, quality assurance, and safety protocols.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Perry Homes' construction methods, from initial stages to project completion, under the guidance of experienced management.
  • Proactively identify and recommend solutions for any challenges that may arise with stakeholders such as inspectors, contractors, and clients.
  • Manage time-sensitive projects effectively, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of warranty services in accordance with company policies.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with homeowners, subcontractors, and sales personnel.
  • Conduct inspections of warranty work to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship during installation and upon project completion.
  • Maintain the quality of assigned inventory homes and related tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations within the subdivision and report any violations to the Project Manager.
  • Support the Construction Management Team in maintaining accurate safety records.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a college program, with a high school diploma required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License with a good driving record and reliable transportation.

Internship Experience

  • Commitment to a full-time schedule of at least 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
  • Opportunities for professional development, community engagement, and team-building activities.
