Corporate Legal Counsel Job Description

Aerwave is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Legal Counsel to join our team. As a trusted advisor to our CEO and executive leadership team, you will be responsible for providing legal guidance on strategic and operational matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and draft complex commercial agreements, including technology and telecom-related contracts.
  • Manage a wide range of legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, company-wide compliance, real estate, product liability, employment matters, and litigation.
  • Provide counseling and guidance on risk allocation for business transactions and proactively manage litigation and other legal disputes.
  • Monitor compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements and recommend changes or additions to compliance activities.
  • Develop and maintain effective controls to monitor the effectiveness of our compliance program.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • 5-10+ years of progressive law firm and/or in-house legal experience in a complex, dynamic company.
  • Experience negotiating and drafting telecom agreements, including software and hardware commercial contracts and license agreements.
  • Registered and in good standing with at least one State Bar and eligible to practice law in the State of Texas.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and strong written and oral communication skills.
