Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Medical Department Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Med Surg department. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing teams and ensuring quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care services. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to drive excellence in patient outcomes.

Staff Supervision: Lead and manage a team of clinical staff, including nurses, technicians, and support personnel. Foster a culture of collaboration, communication, and continuous learning.

Quality Improvement: Drive quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, satisfaction, and outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.

Requirements

Education: Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Current RN license in good standing.

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in a relevant setting. Minimum 5-10 years of healthcare management experience.

Certifications/Licenses: Valid RN license in the state of employment or compact state.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
