Role Overview:
This position is pivotal in providing engineering and technical support for the seamless integration of new products into our production workflows. You will be instrumental in enhancing and refining existing manufacturing processes and systems while also facilitating the introduction of new technologies and equipment for current and future product lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with our International and UK Research & Development teams to ensure effective implementation of New Product Development within our diverse manufacturing landscape.
  • Engage with external partners to define and specify production equipment requirements.
  • Take a hands-on approach by working alongside technicians and external vendors to design, develop, and construct jigs, fixtures, basic machinery, and comprehensive assembly lines.
  • Oversee projects in collaboration with our overseas facilities, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for cost reduction and product enhancement across all new and existing product lines.
  • Exhibit a practical, hands-on methodology in establishing production lines and processes.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a formal qualification (HNC, HND, or degree) in an engineering discipline, along with a minimum of three years of relevant industrial experience in a manufacturing engineering capacity within medium volume production environments (greater than 100 units per day). You should be adept at interpreting and utilizing technical data, have familiarity with manufacturing processes, and be capable of reading and producing CAD/Autocad drawings.

Skills:
Excellent communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work efficiently under tight project deadlines. Your proactive approach and problem-solving abilities will be key to your success in this role.
