Medical Assistant

Assist patients under the direction of licensed personnel and administrators, providing personal care and support services. Perform various duties as assigned, including direct patient care, triage phone calls, and daily clerical tasks.
Responsibilities:- Execute direct patient care duties as directed under the supervision of a licensed provider.
- Triage phone calls, call in prescriptions, and provide patient guidance as instructed by a provider.
- Ensure patient safety and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform day-to-day clerical tasks and related duties.
- Participate in ongoing educational activities and complete assigned goals.
- Education: Minimum of a nursing or medical assistant course, with the ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.
- Experience: Preferred one year of experience; minimum one year of approved course work in nursing or medical assisting.
- Licensure, Registration, Certification: BLS certification within 14 days of hire date.
- Special Skills: Preferred phlebotomy experience; minimum computer literacy.
