Job OverviewAs a key member of our Midas Hospitality team, the Chief Engineer will oversee the maintenance department at our Hotel Canandaigua location in Canandaigua, NY. This role involves managing all aspects of hotel maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and a preventative maintenance program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct visual inspections and testing of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.
  • Diagnose and repair problems with machines and equipment.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the hotel's physical structure, ensuring it remains in good condition.
  • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to maintain rooms to high standards.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from the front desk or housekeeping team.
  • Perform pool chemical testing to ensure water quality.

Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in facilities management.
  • Previous experience in a management position.
