Job Opportunity: Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at Soliant. This role is located in Port Royal, South Carolina.

About the Role

This position involves working with students with disabilities in a school setting, providing personalized instruction and support to help them grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and assess Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
  • Provide individualized and small-group instruction tailored to meet the specific learning needs of students.
  • Adapt and modify general education curriculum to support students' unique learning styles.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records, including IEP documentation, progress reports, and behavioral observations.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and other school staff to ensure the inclusion and success of students in the general education environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education from an accredited institution.
  • Valid South Carolina Special Education Teacher Certification for the appropriate grade level and disability area.
Salary Range

The estimated salary for this position is between $55,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
