Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Domestic Abuse Victim Advocate to join our team at Chenega Professional Services, LLC in Vance AFB, OK. As a key member of our Family Advocacy Program, you will play a crucial role in providing support and resources to victims of domestic abuse.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires 24/7 availability to respond to victims alleging domestic abuse. You will be responsible for establishing safety plans, collaborating with treatment managers and mental health providers, and advocating for victims' needs. Your top priority will be the safety and well-being of victims and their children.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and review safety plans for victims of domestic abuse
  • Collaborate with treatment managers and mental health providers to ensure continuity of care
  • Advocate for victims' needs and provide information on available resources
  • Develop and maintain contact files for each victim, including safety plans and service provided
  • Submit Victim Impact Statements as requested by victims
  • Participate in system advocacy, education, and public awareness initiatives to promote a coordinated community response to domestic abuse

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with victims, treatment managers, and other stakeholders. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and experience working in a similar field is preferred.

Salary:

$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
