About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CDL A Driver to join our team. As a CDL A Driver, you will assist our civil crew by performing tasks, material handling, and maintaining a clean work area under the direct supervision of our project supervisor. You will be responsible for ensuring safe work habits and proper care for tools and equipment. This role requires 100% travel throughout the Midwest, so you must be comfortable with frequent travel and be able to adapt to new environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and follow safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.
  • Monitor operations to ensure that health and safety standards are met.
  • Perform mechanical tasks, including operating vehicles, mechanized devices, or equipment.
  • Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify errors or defects.
  • Get information from relevant sources to make informed decisions.
  • Control machines and processes to operate equipment efficiently.
  • Monitor construction operations to ensure smooth execution.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate Card.
  • Active Tanker Endorsement.
  • Valid, Active CDL A Required.
  • Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
  • Operation Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
  • Monitoring - Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
  • Coordination - Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions.
  • Equipment Maintenance - Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
