Key Responsibilities

The Cage Cashier plays a vital role in ensuring smooth financial transactions within the gaming environment. Your primary duties will include:

  • Welcoming guests promptly and providing outstanding service.
  • Disbursing funds to the gaming floor and shift staff in accordance with established protocols.
  • Processing checks in compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Exchanging gaming chips for cash and handling various forms of payment.
  • Accurately completing necessary documentation, including fills and credits, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with the Sonoma Player's Reward Club Program and utilizing the Fabicash Check Clearing System.
  • Conducting soft counts as required.
  • Assisting with additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

To excel in this position, candidates should possess:

  • A solid understanding of cash handling practices and familiarity with Washington State Gambling regulations.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in cash handling roles.
  • A minimum of two years in customer service.
  • Experience with the Fabitrack system is preferred.
  • A valid Washington State Gaming License.
  • Strong focus and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills for working in a close-knit environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail for regulatory documentation.
