About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at The Denver Hospice. As a Night Shift Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals in need of hospice and palliative services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled nursing coordination of care to patients, including education, mentoring, and guidance to achieve goals of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and participate in Plan of Care (POC) meetings.
  • Supervise Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) and delegate specific tasks per agency policy.
  • Participate in community education, team training, and staff/board committees to promote excellence in care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
  • One to two (1-2) years of experience in hospice and/or palliative care, medical/surgical, public health, oncology, acute care, or home health.
  • Current Colorado RN license and valid Colorado state driver's license with proof of auto insurance.
  • CPR certification (for Pathways, The Denver Hospice, and Pikes Peak affiliates).
