Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Floor & Decor Holdings, Inc. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, and working collaboratively with our management team to achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Connect with customers, ask about their projects, and recommend our products to exceed customer expectations.
  • Provide above-and-beyond customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring a clean, shoppable, and safe environment for customers.
  • Work in cooperation with management and team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Process customers at checkout, handle returns and exchanges, and follow established cash, check, and credit card acceptance procedures.
  • Create price tags and merchandise signs, stock, tag, and display merchandise in a visually appealing manner.
  • Act and work in a manner consistent with the company's core values, demonstrating a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Knowledge of basic math skills and customer service experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
  • Some positions may require completion of forklift certifications through F&D.
Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.

Physical/Sensory Requirements

The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, and to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
