As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality patient care, while also providing leadership and guidance to nursing staff.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and deliver patient care, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective treatment
- Lead and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Develop and implement care plans, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Monitor patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring seamless care coordination
- New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an RN required
- Certification preferred in specialty or efforts to achieve certification
- BSN degree required and 5 years clinical experience, two of which must be in the specialty or related service; or combination of education and experience acceptable to Clinical Director of Nursing or designee
This role is part of our Critical Care Medicine department, working in our Intensive Care Unit. As a member of our team, you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment, working together to provide exceptional patient care.
