Collection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Collection Specialist to join our dynamic collections team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for contacting clients and collecting outstanding payments in a professional and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process customer refunds and review account alterations
• Resolve client inconsistencies and collect overdue payments
• Balance maintaining trustful relationships with clients and ensuring timely payments
• Utilize excellent communication and negotiation skills to resolve collections challenges

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of collections practices, laws, and regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in using collections software and systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in collections, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to collections

Salary Expectation:

On average, a Collection Manager earns $125,000 a year, with salaries ranging from $10,500 to $15,000 per month.
