Clinical Pharmacist

Job Summary:
As a Clinical Pharmacist at Trinity Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining proper records, following department guidelines, and providing drug information to healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, dispense, and supervise the preparation of medications and IVs for patient use.
- Advise healthcare professionals on drug interactions, incompatibilities, side effects, and proper administration of medications.
- Supervise non-pharmacist personnel by assigning duties, checking orders, and maintaining efficient workflow.
- Verify physicians' orders for proper dose, regimen, allergies, and potential drug-drug interactions.
- Monitor lab data on all patients before dispensing medication.
Requirements:
- PharmD degree and completion of a PGY-1 Pharmacy residency plus 3 years of relevant experience.
- Board Certification or acquisition of Board Certification in next 2 years is desired.
- CT Pharmacist license.
Benefits:
