We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Team Lead to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for leading a team of medical imaging professionals and ensuring the highest level of patient care and quality imaging.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of radiologic technologists and other medical imaging staff.
- Ensure quality control and quality assurance in imaging procedures and patient care.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve department efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.
- Provide training and coaching to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agency standards and accreditation requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Current licensure or certification in radiologic technology or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role in radiology or a related field.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience with quality control and quality assurance in imaging procedures.
- Knowledge of regulatory agency standards and accreditation requirements.
