As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to help students enhance their physical abilities and participate fully in school activities.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and assess students' motor skills and physical needs to create personalized treatment plans.
- Provide physical therapy services in individual or group settings, adapting to the unique needs of each student.
- Track and document student progress, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with school staff to integrate therapy goals into educational plans, promoting a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Participate in IEP meetings to help set educational goals and ensure a comprehensive approach to student development.
- Masters degree or equivalent in Physical Therapy.
- Valid state PT licensure.
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
