Position Overview: As a Precious Metals Trader, you will be responsible for executing and managing trades in precious metals commodities. The role requires delivering outstanding service to institutional clients, providing market insights and strategic trading solutions that are independent of buy-side and sales influences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute trades in precious metals for institutional clients, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering customised trading solutions and market insights to meet their needs.
  • Analyse market trends and provide strategic trading recommendations to clients, helping them make informed decisions.
  • Manage risk and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Work autonomously from buy-side traders and sales teams, making decisions that align with client interests.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, with a strong understanding of financial markets and instruments.
  • 2-7 years of experience in commodities trading, with a focus on precious metals and a proven track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge of precious metals markets, trading strategies, and risk management techniques.
  • Proficiency in trading platforms, such as Bloomberg, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and provide exceptional service.
