Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily performance of computer systems to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Provide technical assistance to users, answering questions and resolving problems related to computer software and hardware.
  • Set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and software.
  • Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.
  • Record information in help tickets to facilitate problem-solving and future reference.
  • Confer with users, staff, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.
  • Monitor network closets for port availability and troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
  • Communicate with telecommunication vendors to resolve service issues.
  • Support phone software and hardware, configure phones, and set up voicemail.
  • Cover Help Desk duties when staff are on vacation or ill.
Requirements
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of related work experience preferred.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Expert proficiency with computers, including Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
