Job Summary

The Associate Producer will work closely with the Artistic Director and Associate Artistic Director to lead the production team for Center Theatre Group's mainstage productions and artistic programs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain budgets for productions, readings, workshops, and other artistic programs
  • Communicate with creative teams to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of designs
  • Collaborate with production and management staff to resolve issues and provide updates
  • Line produce readings, workshops, and specific artistic programs as needed
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet logistical needs of artistic department-related projects
Requirements
  • At least five years of professional experience as a lead producer for live performances or live events
  • Experience working on LORT productions and familiarity with relevant union agreements (AEA, SDC, IATSE) a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to guide and support the artistic process
  • Demonstrated track record and ongoing commitment to integrating practices of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
  • Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
