We are seeking a highly skilled Asst Director of Nursing to join our team at Medstar, responsible for overseeing the nursing and patient care delivery of the IMC/Medical-Surgical Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Nursing Leadership: Directs and coordinates the nursing and patient care delivery of the unit-based professional and support personnel.
- Patient Care: Ensures the provision of holistic, culturally competent, and person-centered, quality, safe, and cost-effective evidence-based nursing care for patients/families.
- Administrative: Collaborates with the Director of Nursing in maintaining adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards, and MedStar Health's policies and procedures.
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
- Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
