Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Specialist to join our team at Hollywood Park, a 300-acre sports and entertainment destination in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain beautiful landscapes across various industrial, commercial, and public properties.
  • Prioritize tasks to ensure healthy biomes and aesthetically pleasing environments.
  • Identify and resolve issues promptly, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Cross-functional relationships throughout the organization.
  • Set up and monitor irrigation systems, repairing leaks and heads as needed.
  • Schedule and execute daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly plans and goals.
  • Perform mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and other lawn care duties.
  • Supervise and manage the landscape team.
  • Plan and implement flower bed planting and maintenance.
  • Pick up trash and debris regularly.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent; preferred degree or certification in a landscape-related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape maintenance and irrigation.
  • Active driver's license and record in good standing.
  • Able to perform duties requiring prolonged walking, standing, and stooping.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.

Salary Range: $25.00 - $27.00/hour
