Job Title: Registered Nurse Medical Unit Day Shift

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Interventional Radiology team in Everett, Massachusetts. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide competent, compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
  • Assist Interventional Pulmonologists with procedures, including flexible bronchoscopy, bronchothermoplasty, and endobronchial laser therapy
  • Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients during procedures
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Manager and Patient Care Team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in daily operational activities to ensure a safe patient/staff environment
  • Rotate into the role of resource nurse after 6 months in the department
Requirements:
  • Current Massachusetts licensure as a registered nurse
  • 23 years ICU, critical care, ED, or procedural experience required
  • Good clinical background in pulmonology preferred
  • Completes competencies for Critical Care Orientation, including successful completion of conscious sedation program administered by the Department of Anesthesia
