We are seeking a skilled Collections Specialist to join our Accounting Department. As an expert in accounts receivable and collections, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely payment of invoices from customers.

About the Role:

  • Communicate with delinquent customers to resolve billing disputes and secure payments.
  • Review shipping and billing documentation to identify errors and discrepancies.
  • Manage a high volume of past due accounts, utilizing effective negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to resolve customer disputes and improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting, preferably in accounts receivable or collections.
  • Previous experience using CargoWise One ERP system is preferred.
  • Proven track record of handling large volumes of delinquent accounts.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
