Key Responsibilities
  • Client Support: Assist clients with daily living activities, track and monitor behaviors, and document interactions.
  • Therapeutic Recreation: Plan and lead therapeutic recreation activities for groups, promoting purposeful interventions and therapies.
  • Collaboration: Work with clinical staff on special projects and duties, ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Activity Facilitation: Lead individual and group activities with clients, promoting engagement and empowerment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Medication Management: Observe and document client compliance with medication regimes as outlined in the treatment plan.
  • Client Care: Assist clinical staff in meeting and monitoring clients' medical and health care needs.
  • Program Implementation: Assist in implementing programs as specified by the supervisor.
  • Group Activities: Facilitate group activities according to the program schedule and implement individualized care plans developed by the treatment team.
  • Basic Needs Support: Assist clients in learning how to meet basic needs and secure appropriate entitlements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Effective Communication: Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in-person, and virtual methods.
Qualifications
  • Education: Associate's degree. Two years of experience or two years of college coursework in a related field may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Experience: Must have at least two years of related work or related college experience.
