Job Summary

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled travel nurse to join our team in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. As a Cardiac Catheterization Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Electrophysiology Lab environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform Adult Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Devices, Electrophysiology, and/or Structural Heart procedures with precision and accuracy.
  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation, medication, charge, and reporting accuracy of daily procedural case load.
  • Respond to emergent care situations and provide timely interventions.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring equipment maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Assure preparedness of procedure rooms and compliance with PHS, Local, and Federal regulations.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in RN program, radiology, or related field.
  • 3 years of adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or EP procedures experience.
  • RN licensure required.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Detailed knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, disease processes, and principles of cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional technology.
Shift and On-Call Information

Shift start: 7am. On-call required weekdays. On-call at both Rust Medical Center and Presbyterian Hospital. Weekends required Friday 1730- Monday 0700 and holidays required for call only typically to Presbyterian Hospital & Rust Medical Center. Floating required. Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.

Orientation and Training

1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training. Scrubs required.
