Key Responsibilities:
What qualities make you an exceptional candidate?
• Assist in identifying, engineering, and designing security technologies, including but not limited to: Security Incident and Event Managers (SIEM), threat intelligence solutions, web filtering, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint security solutions, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Vulnerability Management (VM), Threat Intelligence, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Email Gateways, and more.
• Analyze system logs to detect unauthorized access or usage.
• Create, analyze, and present security metrics to leadership.
• Participate in emergency response activities for various security incidents.
• Provide comprehensive support for information security incidents, including internal violations, cyberattacks, and system outages.
• Engage in periodic risk assessments of information systems.
• Develop detailed proposals and plans for new information security systems to enhance capabilities for network or host systems.
• Recommend and evaluate security tools to identify more efficient and effective security measures.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience is strongly preferred.
• 1-5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Network Engineering, Network Operations, Information Technology Support, System Administration, Data Science, or Software Development (Python, React) is preferred.
• Relevant Information Security Certifications (such as CISSP, CCNP-Security, GIAC, CEH, CPTS) are highly preferred.
