Lead Anesthesia Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anesthesia Technologist to join our team at Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital. As a Lead Anesthesia Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our anesthesia department, providing exceptional patient care, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient outcomes.

• Lead and manage a team of anesthesia technologists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent patient care and departmental performance.
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, quality of care, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with anesthesia providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
• Conduct quality audits, analyze data, and implement corrective actions to improve departmental performance and patient outcomes.
• Provide training and education to staff members on anesthesia procedures, equipment, and protocols.
• Participate in departmental and hospital-wide committees to contribute to policy development, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.

• Associate degree in Anesthesia Technologist program or equivalent health-related field.
• Five years of experience as an Anesthesia Technologist, including experience in a lead/supervisor capacity.
• Certified Anesthesia Technologist (A.T.T.) certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in computer systems, including Hospital/Anesthesia Information Systems and Office software.
