Yacht Rigging Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rigging Specialist to join our team at St Francis Marine Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and repairing sailboat rigging, working on mast electronics, and providing exceptional customer service.

• Identify and repair problems in sailboat rigging
• Work on mast electronics, including installation and testing
• De-rig and rig masts
• Carry out various repair and maintenance tasks as dictated by the needs of the vessel
• Answer clients' questions about maintaining their boats

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal marine mechanic training is preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Deep knowledge of the components that allow boats to function
• Excellent mechanical skills and the ability to use a wide variety of tools and techniques
