Position Overview

Compensation Details
Estimated payment is approximately $3042.00 per week, which includes taxable income and an hourly rate ranging from $40.00 to $47.00. Please note that actual amounts may vary based on eligibility and adjustments.

Role Responsibilities
As a Sonographer, you will perform transthoracic echocardiograms for both adult and pediatric patients in a hospital setting. Your duties will include:

  • Conducting inpatient and outpatient echocardiograms
  • Occasionally performing stress echocardiograms
  • Assisting with transesophageal echocardiograms

Equipment Utilization
You will work with advanced imaging technology, including:

  • Philips Epiqs, Affinity's, and IE33's
  • GE E95 and Vived E9

Reporting Systems
Utilize the following systems for reporting:

  • Epiq Cupid
  • Sectra – Cardiology PACS

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited program with a minimum of three years of experience
  • Licenses/Certifications: BLS (AHA), RDCS (PE) or RCS

Work Environment
This position is based in a 500-bed hospital with five outpatient clinic rooms. The dress code consists of grey scrubs or provided light blue scrubs.
