Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The role entails ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the warehouse and facility areas, including break rooms, restrooms, and the maintenance of forklift batteries.

WORK SCHEDULE

Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect and prepare corrugated materials, plastic wrap, and wood scraps for recycling or disposal.
  • Conduct daily emptying of trash bins and dumpsters.
  • Dismantle boxes and recycle corrugated materials using a baler.
  • Operate a pacer and sit-down lift safely and effectively.
  • Sweep floors and maintain cleanliness at printer stations.
  • Manage battery changes for Raymond forklift equipment.
  • Utilize the battery wash station for cleaning Enersys batteries.
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks on Enersys batteries.
  • Use a portable manual battery changer as required.
  • Operate the sit-down floor scrubber.
  • Execute additional tasks as needed based on business requirements.
  • Adhere to all company policies, best practices, and OSHA regulations.
  • Clean and sanitize all manufacturing equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of three months of relevant experience is required.
  • Experience with pacers is preferred.
  • On-the-job certification is necessary.

EDUCATION

  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
