Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mammographic imaging procedures, including 3D and 2D mammography, biopsy, and needle localizations.
  • Employ proper patient positioning, technique selection, and radiation protection devices to ensure accurate and safe imaging.
  • Treat patients with professionalism and respect, maintaining a positive and supportive environment.
  • Effectively operate organizational RIS and PACS systems, maintaining accurate time records and adhering to regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in patient follow-ups and collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare staff to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • ARRT Mammography certification or registration by ARRT with certification within 12 months of hire.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Registration by ARRT.
  • 1+ years of Radiology experience and 0-1 years of Mammography experience.
